Logo Design for Austin Twestival 2010

Posted on March 24, 2010 by Michelle McGonagle

Umbrella Media had the honor of providing Austin’s own Twestival (@austintwestival) team a logo for the 2010 Twestival Event. Under short notice (one night to be exact), we made contact with the coordinator of the event, Austin Twestival’s Michael Pearsun (@michaelpearsun), and put our minds together to provide the logo that will be used for the event, which is only a day away!

Twestival (or Twitter Festival) is a global cause that uses “social media for good” by organizing events in every city held on the same day to help raise awareness on the importance of Education. On top of that, this cause is organized by 100% of volunteers with 100% of ticket sale proceeds going towards their awareness projects. Visit Twestival’s About Page to learn more on how you can get your city, school, or yourself involved.

This years Twestival will be held on March 25, 2010, atMolotov Lounge from 7pm to 10pm. Admission is free for anyone who goes but donations are being accepted at the door to help support“Concern Worldwide”. They are also asking for anyone who may want to become a sponsor. Sponsorships start from Bronze Sponsors with donations starting at $1 to Diamond Sponsors with donations starting at $1000.

There will be gifts and games provided by Twestival and donors, along with a surprise from Austin’s very own Sunni Brown that is said to blow you away!

Sounds like a great event, right?! Find out more and RSVP to make sure you land a guaranteed spot through the door.

Can’t make it but would still like to donate or become a sponsor? No problem! You can still become a sponsor and donate right online.

Hope to see a lot of people there and don’t forget to spread the word!
